About Project
The company is collecting video and audio recordings from people in their everyday home environments. This helps build and improve technology that can better understand real-life activities, sounds, and situations. You may participate in this project either onsite at one of the facilities or from the comfort of your own home. If you choose your residential location, our Moderator will coordinate and schedule the session at your residence. Due to NDA's being signed, the name of the company is not available on this site but rest assured, you will find out the company's name and details once you are accepted for the study and the team reaches out to you; also note that you always have the choice to participate or decline participation even after you have been accepted.
Task Description
You’ll be recorded using a camera and microphone while performing tasks like:
Saying short phrases
Explain a simple unscripted topic for 2-3 minutes with little to no preparation
Memorizing and reading short prompts out loud
Following instructions using specific vocal tones for emphasis
Making basic facial expressions (smile, frown, etc.), head movements (turn head, nod, etc.), or the ability to sit or stand
Simple Acting tasks that may require full range of motion (e.g., pretending to clean the kitchen or sort mail)
Eligibility Requirements
Eligibility Requirements
Must be proficient in conversational English and be able to follow instructions in English
Must be 18 years or older
Participants must be within an 8-year age difference
Must be identical twins or same-gender, look-alike biological siblings (no step-siblings)
Both siblings/twins must participate in their own sessions
Able to travel to the recording site or host an in-home session
Willing to consent to audio and video recording for research purposes
Must be located in an active project area: Las Vegas, NV; Salt Lake City, UT; Saint Paul, MN; Phoenix, AZ; New Jersey (Jersey City and Bordentown); New York (Manhattan and Brooklyn); Cleveland, OH; and Atlanta, GA.
Must present a valid government-issued photo ID (U.S. or non-U.S. accepted, e.g., passport, driver’s license, state ID, military ID, or national ID)
Accessibility Accommodations
Some rental locations used for onsite sessions may not be fully accessible. Participants who require accessibility accommodations are encouraged to notify the team in advance so working with you can be possible and an appropriate participation format can be determined.
When onsite accommodations are not feasible at a particular location, alternative arrangements — including in‑home participation — may be offered to ensure an inclusive and accessible experience.
Compensation
Identical Twin Compensation For All Locations
$600 per identical twin (each twin is compensated individually; both must participate)
Sibling Compensation Per Location
New York & New Jersey (Siblings)
Onsite: $240 per participant
In-home: $350 per participant
Atlanta, Cleveland, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, Saint Paul(Siblings)
Onsite: $200 per participant
In-home: $300 per participant
Session Duration:
Onsite at the provided Filming Location: 2 to 2.5 hours
In-Participant Home Session: 2.5 to 3 hours

How much will i be compensated?
For this study participants must attend with their eligible twin or same gender sibling . If you are participating with your eligible twin, both of you would be paid $600 each - amounting to $600 per twin but if you are participating with your same gender/look alike sibling,
You will be compensated $240 participating at the onsite and $350(For NJ/NYC only);
(For other locations outside NY/NJ) - You will be compensated $200 participating at our onsite and $300.
Am i required to participate if i complete the form?
Completing the form does not guarantee participation. You will be contacted if you qualify based on your responses.
What will i do in the study?
The collects short video and audio recordings to help make everyday technology more inclusive and accurate.
Sessions are simple, engaging, and may be completed onsite or from home (based on eligibility). Every session helps ensure technology reflects real people in real environments..
